University of Mirpurkhas Celebrates Cultural Festival Day with Vibrant Performances, Traditional Attire, and Patriotic Spirit as Part of the “Marqa-e-Haq” Independence Celebrations

As part of the “Marqa-e-Haq” two-week Independence Day celebration, The University of Mirpurkhas hosted a colorful and vibrant event titled “Cultural Festival Day” on 6th August 2025. The celebration was organized by the Department of English Language and Literatue. The event began with a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Rafique Ahmed Memon, Vice Chancellor of the University of Mirpurkhas, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The program featured traditional attire, regional songs, folk dances, and cultural presentations by students, highlighting the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Pakistan. Each performance beautifully embodied the spirit of unity in diversity. Madam Remsha Ali supervised the event and appreciated the students for their creativity, enthusiasm, and respect for cultural values, commending their efforts in making the event a memorable one. In his presidential remarks, Prof. Dr. Rafique Ahmed Memon applauded the students’ dedication and encouraged them to remain proud ambassadors of their culture and identity. He emphasized the importance of such events in fostering national unity, pride, and a sense of belonging. The event concluded with loud cheers, traditional music, and a strong patriotic spirit, leaving everyone with renewed love and pride for Pakistan’s cultural richness.
